Generalissimus Suvorov begins sea trials

Generalissimus Suvorov, the sixth submarine in the Project 955/955A line and the third Project 955A/Borey-A submarine, began sea trials.

The submarine was laid down in December 2014 and was launched in December 2021.

Construction of the submarine is several years behind the schedule. According to the plan outlined in 2016, Suvorov was supposed to enter service in 2020.
