The sixth Borey class submarine (Project 955A) was laid down at Sevmash today. The submarine was named "Generalissimus Suvorov".
The sub will join two other ships under construction - Knyaz Vladimir and Knyaz Oleg, laid down in July 2012 and in July 2014 respectively. Three Project 955 submarines are already in service.
