20261107_Glonass.pngOn 7 November 2026, the Air and Space Forces conducted a successful launch of a Soyuz-2.1b rocket from the Plesetsk space launch site (Ministry of Defense video). The launch probably took place at about 16:20 MSK (13:20 UTC). The satellite that the rocket and its Fregat boost stage delivered into orbit is believed to be a navigation satellite of the Glonass type.

The satellite is likely to be designated Cosmos-2621. It received the international designation 2026-252A and was registered in the NORAD/Space-Track catalog as object 101318. At this point the Space-Track catalog lists the satellite as Object A.

The previous launch of a Glonass satellite took place in September 2026.
