A few recent developments changed the map of coverage provided by the Russian early-warning radars. First, Russia began operations of a new Voronezh-DM radar in Lekhtusi. The radar has been operational for a while, but only recently Sean O'Connor, who...

I'm wondering if this is the site of the Voronezh-class radar that is built near Armavir - 44°55'52.20"N 40°59'21.38"E. It's an October 23, 2005 shot on Google Earth, so we don't get to see the actual radar. At the...

recently I read an article here about holes in russian radar defense. will these new radars close these holes?
thank you
There was a small gap created by the decommissioning of the radar in Skrunda. The new radar has closed that.
Armavir in Armenia?

No, Armavir is in Russia.
What about the eastern corridor? Supposedly a launch from certain areas in the Pacific could reach some strategic targets. Are plans to build a Voronezh-DM looking east to close this gap?
There is no serious gap in radar coverage in the East. Even if there is something there, it's insignificant.
Do someone has the GE-coordinates for the antenna location?
