On October 22, 2008 the Strategic Rocket Forces performed a successful test launch of a UR-100NUTTH/SS-19 missile. The missile was launched at 13:10 MSK (09:10 UTC) from the Baykonur test site to Kura in Kamchatka. According to the Rocket Forces, the launch confirmed the service life of the missile, which was set to 31 years earlier this year after a successful launch in October 2007.
The Rocket Forces are expected to conduct two more launches this year, one of which would be a test of the RS-24 missile.

Всего с Байконура в 4 квартале 2008 года запланировано 3 пуска МБР РС-18, один из них с выведением на орбиту космического аппарата.
Two test launches of UR-100NUTTH in one quarter would be quite unusual. We'll see what happens.
