The Strategic Rocket Forces is deploying "fifth-generation" command and control system as it upgrades its command centers. According to a Rocket Forces representative, the new system will allow continuous monitoring of the status of ballistic missiles as well as flexible targeting.

There is some uncertainty about generations - in December 2011 the Rocket Forces announced that the deployment of the fourth-generation command and control system will begin in 2012. The "third-generation" system was reportedly deployed in 2008. This suggests that each new "generation" is in fact a moderate upgrade of the command and control system.
