The military unit at Baikonur to be disbanded

According to Krasnaya Zvezda, the 1st Space Testing and Operations Center at the Baikonur space launch site will be disbanded on December 1st, 2005. Liquidation of the Center is part of withdrawal of military activity from Baikonur.
