It looks like the Strategic Aviation will not get the promised new Tu-160 bomber this year. According to an account of Sergei Ivanov's visit to the Ural-Volga military district, the aircraft will be delivered in 2006.

So, it was a delay with the S-400 also. Some comentarists claims about unabated inflation (24 billon for the Tu-160 !!!!). This situation reached also the buy of S-400 or the problem is the delay with the 40N6 missile?
I haven't seen anything about S-400 (or any other missile defense system) in a while. Was there a plan to buy one fo these in 2005?
