First Raduga-1M satellite no longer operational

The first in the series of Raduga-1M communication relay satellites, Raduga-1M-1, launched in December 2007 apparently completed operations. As detailed by Anatoly Zak at RussianSpaceWeb.com the satellite was first reported nonoperational in May 2013 and was been moved to a "graveyard" orbit on June 8, 2013.

The second satellite of the Raduga-1M type was launched in January 2010.

Contrary to written by Anatoly Zak at RussianSpaceWeb.com the Raduga-1M never had 10-12-year life span. Only three years.
