On June 21, 2010 the Rocket Forces performed a successful launch of an R-36MUTTH missile, which delivered into orbit a German satellite, TanDEM-X. The missile, configured as a Dnepr space launcher, was launched at 06:14:06 MSK (02:14:06 UTC) from the silo launcher No. 95 of the launch complex No. 109 of the Baykonur test site.

Previous Dnepr launch took place on June 15, 2010 from the Yasnyy/Dombarovsky site.
