Demonstrator has been lost

A R-29R/SS-N-18 missile, launched at 01:30 MSK on October 7, 2005 from the "Borisoglebsk" Project 667BDR/Delta III submarine, seemed to have successfully deployed the Demonstrator re-entry capsule that it was carrying. However, the capsule, which was supposed to land on the Kura test site, has not been found.

This launch was initially scheduled on September 28, 2005, but was postponed for technical reasons.
