In a traditional December interview (it's the RVSN anniversary), the commander of the Strategic Rocket Forces said that his force is planning to conduct "more than ten" missile launches in 2022. Most of these are expected to be "development" launches, such as tests of the Sarmat missile and some other missiles.

He didn't answer to a question about the number of launches in 2021, saying instead that there were "more than 25 launches in the last five years."
