Possible Nudol ASAT test from Plesetsk

Nudol 2021-06-46.pngAccording to the Warbolts Telegram channel, Russia issued a NOTAM notice that closed areas in the Barents Sea and Laptev Sea for the period of 23 or 24 June 2021. These closures are normally associated with tests of the Nudol ASAT system from the Plesetsk test site.

This is the second notice issued in 2021. Previous one closed these areas on 29 May 2021. The tests were probably postponed since the United States did not issue any statement similar to the one that followed tests in December 2020 and in April 2020.
