Strategic bombers of the 37th army took part in an exercise that involved relocation of bombers and launches of cruise missiles.

On April 11th, two Tu-95MS bombers from Ukrainka conducted a flight along a path around Japan and four other Tu-95MS bombers from that base flew around Alaska and then landed in Anadyr, from where they returned to their base on April 14th.

On April 14th, eight bombers conducted launches of cruise missiles at the test site in Vorkuta. Four Tu-95MS bombers that flew in from Ukrainka were joined by two Tu-160 and two Tu-95MS bombers based in Engels. Each of these aircraft launched one cruise missile. All launches were reported to be successful.
