The head of Rosatom, Aleksandr Rumyantsev, admitted yesterday that his ministry's plan to bring foreign spent fuel to Russia for storage and reprocessing has failed to attract any customers. The plans to build a storage facility in Krasnoyarsk, however, have not been changed - it will be taking fuel of Russian-built reactors (including the reactor in Iran). Rumyantsev promised that the facility will be completed in three to four years.
