The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists just published Russian nuclear forces, 2005 in its NRDC Nuclear Notebook section. It's a great summary of the development in the Russian forces in 2004 and their status in 2005.

There are some differences in our accounts, but these are mainly because I'm much more skeptical about the prospects of SS-25/Topol missiles staying in service beyond 2010.
