Although Rosatom already announced that it postponed the MOX program and started looking into its favorite method of dealing with plutonium - breeder reactors, its American counterparts won't let the issue go.
At the opening of a construction of a power plant in Seversk on April 26, Rosatom and DoE officials said they will continue looking for funding for the MOX program. Or, rather, they just confirmed that the program still has only $850 billion of its $2 billion budget and admitted that the money has go to come from somewhere.
