The Russian Navy announced earlier this week that the Dmitry Donskoy submarine will conduct another flight test of the Bulava missile on Sunday, December 21st (the previous was in November). That day is already over in Russia and the Navy is silent on the test. I guess we would have heard something it it were a success, so the test was either postponed or was not successful.

I also guess we would have heard something it was not a success. Some people here seems over-interested in seeing the program to fail. I cant’ understand such a behaviour that in the end feed itself with the own rumours and wishes.
there was an article in a russian news website that quoted a source from the russian defense ministry stating that the test lunch will be carried out in the next 2 days somewhere before Christmas.
Sorry for those to hope to see a failed Bulava test.

The test occured on dec 23 early morning from submerged Donskoy. It was officially declared a failure. Reports are contradictory (RIAN reports a 1st stage failure while Lenta.ru reports 3rd stage malfunction and commanded destruct).
