Kazakhstan is making plans to build a fuel fabrication facility in cooperation with Westinghouse by 2011-2012. The facility would provide fuel for new Toshiba-Westinghouse nuclear power plants. Today, the Ulba Metallurgical Plant supplies pellets to fuel fabrication plants in Russia.
